Description
The Graduate Student Travel Award will be given to graduate students who are first author on an accepted paper that has been judged excellent by the reviewers. If selected, this award stipend (up to $750) will go towards the awardee's travel after their presentation and paper have been uploaded.
Eligibility Criteria
** Must be a Graduate Student at the time of the AERA Conference.
** Graduate Student is first author.
** Graduate Student is a member of ROGCT SIG.
** Graduate Student is a verified student.

In order to receive funding, the graduate student must:
** Verify that the graduate student has not received funding for the conference that would exceed actual expenses.
** Verify that final paper was uploaded prior to conference.

Note, the session does not need to be in the ROGCT SIG to qualify for the travel award.
Student must be a full-time graduate student as of April 2022 to qualify for the award.
Form of Recognition
**  Up to $750 covered for travel to conference
**  Certificate
**  Recognition at the SIG business meeting
Timeline
Applications due January 15, 2023.

Award winners notified by February 15, 2023.

Award will be announced and presented at the SIG Business Meeting at the AERA Conference, April 2023.
